We are currently working exclusively with a middle school in Redditch who are seeking a talented and motivated Year 5 and 6 Teacher to join their team, starting in September 2023 for a full academic year.

About the role
As a Year 5 and 6 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of their students. Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum and cater to diverse learning needs

Developing and implementing creative teaching strategies to promote active learning and student participation
-
Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting individual learning goals
-
Collaborating with colleagues to plan and coordinate cross-curricular activities and events
-
Establishing a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for learning, respect, and mutual support

Communicating effectively with parents/guardians to provide regular updates on student progress and address any concerns
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following criteria:

Hold a relevant teaching qualification and possess QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably within Year 5/6 or a similar age group
-
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the primary curriculum and a passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences
-
Showcase excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
-
Possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with students, parents, and colleagues
