We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 6 student with special educational needs (SEN) at a primary school in Erdington. This is a part-time position, with working hours from Monday to Friday, mornings only.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one support for a Year 6 child with special needs.
Assist the child with their educational development and social integration.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement tailored learning plans.
Foster a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
•Help the child with tasks such as concentration, communication, and motor skills development.

Requirements:

Experience working with SEN children in a primary school setting.
•At least one year of relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support.

A strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by children with special needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
Position Details:

Location: Erdington
Hours: 8.30 - 13.00, Monday to Friday, mornings only
Contract: Part-time
